EMM European Movement Merseyside [LCR Liverpool City Region] is the local branch of the EM European Movement UK, covering the Merseyside / Liverpool City Region. We are home to everyone who wants to see the UK return to our rightful place at the heart of Europe. The European Movement was founded by Winston Churchill in 1949 to promote European unity. For over 75 years, we have worked to build a closer relationship with our European neighbours. The European Movement is a cross-party, single-issue organisation. We are powered by our 24,000 members, more than 200,000 campaign supporters, over 100 local groups, and our strong networks in Westminster plus the regions and nations of the UK, and across Europe.
