Albanian School Pjeter Budi CIC

Albania School “Pjetër Budi” Liverpool is a non-profit supplementary school dedicated to preserving and promoting Albanian language, culture, and heritage among children in the diaspora. We provide weekly educational sessions for ages 5–15, combining language learning with cultural activities such as history, traditional dance, art, and celebrations of national events.

Our aim is to strengthen cultural identity, support bilingual development, and offer a structured environment where children can connect with their heritage. The school operates with the support of parents, volunteers, and qualified educators, working collaboratively to maintain a welcoming and inclusive community space.

Through our programmes, we contribute to cultural continuity, community cohesion, and the enrichment of multicultural life in Liverpool.

Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain, Liverpool Branch

The AUGB Liverpool Branch is part of the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) — the largest representative body for Ukrainians and people of Ukrainian descent in the UK. The Liverpool branch organises cultural events, gatherings, and supports newly displaced Ukrainians (especially in the context of the war). They partner with local organisations, including universities to host Ukrainian cultural festivals and film screenings.

BilinguaSing Liverpool

BilinguaSing Liverpool opens up a vibrant world of language and culture for children from 1 month old right up to 11 years!
From singing traditional Spanish songs like ‘El Barquito Chiquitito’ and ‘Los Pollitos’ to celebrating cultural highlights like the colourful traditions of the continent, we infuse our classes with rich cultural excitement. We celebrate bilingually, delivering all movement, music, and sensory classes in both English and Spanish!

We believe passionately that giving young children the gift of a second language is crucial—it’s the key to a global perspective, enhanced brain development, and the ability to connect with others across borders. Leveraging our founder’s PhD, multilingual skills, and 20+ years of corporate experience across Europe, we launched BilinguaSing Liverpool to bring continental-style bilingual education right here into a place where the fiesta never ends!
We also offer bilingual music and books for purchase in Spanish and English, as well as German, French, and Italian. We’re not just teaching Spanish; we’re building confidence, sparking curiosity, and laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Come and discover the magic!

Black Europeans

Black Europeans was established to promote solidarity among non-white European minority ethnic citizens who are experiencing racial discrimination in non-EU countries, particularly in the UK, in the post-Brexit landscape. This initiative underscores a commitment to broader racial equity and social justice, extending beyond the mere focus on skin colour.
Our mission is to identify the root causes of the systemic challenges faced by our community members, develop new systems that enable them to advocate for themselves, and ensure that the voices of all EU minority citizens are heard and their concerns are properly addressed.
We engage with allies across diplomatic channels, academic institutions, and the broader civil society.
Black Europeans is a movement focused on building common ground for unity in diversity.
