Parade to celebrate Day of the Bulgarian Culture and the Slavic Alphabet! Join us for a vibrant celebration of Bulgarian heritage in the heart of Liverpool. The Bulgarian School Bukvaran in Liverpool invites you to mark The Day of Bulgarian Culture and the Slavic Alphabet with a joyful parade around St John’s Gardens. This special day honours the rich traditions of Bulgarian education, language, and culture that have been passed down through generations. There will be poetry, songs, and the traditional Bulgarian Horo Dance! Curator’s Tour – Self-Defined. New Stories From Archives

Curator-led guided tour offering in-depth insight into the conceptual framework of the exhibition. The tour explores themes of archival absence, memory construction, displacement and cultural identity, while explaining how artists reinterpret private and public archives to challenge dominant narratives. Participants gain access to curatorial thinking, research methodologies and the political contexts behind the works.
