The In Limbo Project was formed in 2017 and has published two books of brexit testimonies by EU citizens in the UK (“In Limbo”, 2017) and Britons in the EU (“In Limbo Too”, 2018), each telling the lived experience of 150 contributors in their own words.
Led by a small but highly spirited international group of activists and having inspired wide support from migrant communities, academics and politicians, the In Limbo Project continues to participate in numerous initiatives in the UK, the EU and further afield, alongside tirelessly advocating for citizens’ rights.
We continue to highlight the human cost of brexit, showcase the benefits of free movement, advocate for human rights and show solidarity with all migrants.
As part of Liverpool European Festival, we work in partnership with Black Europeans Ltd and Global Liverpool Ltd to organise the annual event “Black Europeans” which highlights that EU citizens come in many shades and enrich European culture.
